This is an antique hand knotted Persian Mahal rug. It has an allover traditional pattern perhaps the easiest design to work with on a rusty red color background. It is made with wool on cotton foundation. It is a bit more elaborate then most Mahal rug and a better weave. The rug is in great condition.
